Variety reports that 'Glee Season One: Road to Sectionals' will have the director's cut of the original episode, behind-the-scenes features, videos of cast auditions and, of course, musical numbers from the show. A full-season DVD will be released after the remainder of the season airs in 2010; purchasers of the 'Road to Sectionals' DVD will get a discount voucher so that they don't have to pay for the same episodes twice.
More 'Glee' news, featuring Madonna, Adam Lambert and Barack Obama, after the jump ... Attention, Gleeks! There's a veritable choir-gasm of news today about 'Glee,' which is featured on this week's cover of Entertainment Weekly. Let's begin with the happy announcement that Fox is jumping the gun and releasing a 'Glee' DVD even before the inaugural season is finished. The first 13 episodes will be available on record by December 29.

More 'Glee' news, featuring Madonna, Adam Lambert and Barack Obama, follows below.
•No, Madonna isn't guest-starring on 'Glee' (alas!), but she has disposed the show license to use her entire catalog, which means we'll be seeing an all-Madonna episode in the 2nd half of the season. (That news, and lots more, comes from Entertainment Weekly, whose cover story in the upcoming issue is all about 'Glee.') Naturally, the sequence will feature Dianna Agron, as pregnant cheerleader Quinn, singing Madge's 'Papa Don't Preach' (so says E! Online).
•EW also reports that 'Glee' creator Ryan Murphy wants Adam Lambert as a guest star. The 'American Idol' runner-up would surely be a natural fit for the show, especially since, once 'Idol' starts this winter, it'll share Wednesday nights on Fox with 'Glee.'
•Meanwhile, the Washington Post - which reminds us that the 'Glee' cast shared a podium with President Obama at the Human Rights Campaign dinner on Oct. 10 and leave be telling the national anthem when Fox broadcasts Game 3 of the Earth Series on Oct. 31 - says that Murphy will release his ire over NBC's yanking of the 'Glee' cast fromt the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. The Post reports (citing EW) that Murphy is writing an installment in which choir-loathing cheerleading coach Sue Sylvester (Jane Lynch) denies the chorus permission to drive a parade float in William McKinley High School's spring festival.

•Is there too much 'Glee' out there? Even some fans think so (see hera and here), given the tsunami of teaser clips Fox is flooding the district with. To promote last night's episode, 'Mash-Up,' Fox released eight clips (including three song performances) totaling nearly 10 minutes, which meant you could have watched nearly a quarter of the episode online before it aired. Even a performer who flaunts it as often as Madonna could recite you: sometimes you get to have something back and give the fans wanting more.
